6mm Creedmoor Prescott

The 6mm Creedmoor Prescott was an exercise to turn the Revolution DI platform into the lightest semi auto hunting rifle on the market, and to do it without needless “lightening” cuts. Built on the Rogue platform, the Prescott makes hunting with a semi-auto reality. At 7.1 pounds, the Prescott is built to hunt and go everywhere you do. The Prescott features a forged receiver set, 22" Nitride 4150 steel barrel, KeyLock DI BCG, ambidextrous selector, Strike Eagle ambidextrous charging handle, Renegade rail with oversized heatsink barrel nut, and finished with our Micro B muzzle brake. Available in 6mm Creedmoor.

Proprietary technology & features

DROP IN TRIGGER
POF-USA's single-stage EFP Drop-in Trigger system features a 4 lb. pull weight and is assembled in a red anodized aluminum housing. The Trigger, Disconnect, and Hammer are all Nitride Heat Treated. As a result, these parts are very strong and corrosion resistance. When assembled, POF-USA's signature rubber urethane feet keep the unit snug in the lower receiver. Includes custom-fit stainless steel KNS Precision™ Anti-walk Pins for both standard AR and POF-USA ambidextrous lower receivers.

Features:

  • Virtually no creep
  • Exceptionally crisp
  • Enhance Finger Placement trigger blade
  • Single-stage, 4 lb. pull
  • Red anodized housing machined from 6061 aluminum
  • Precision machined
  • Individually inspected
  • Includes free anti-walk trigger pins
  • Fits AR type lower receivers manufactured to mil-spec dimensions
  • Pin Size0.154"

E2 DUAL-EXTRACTION TECHNOLOGY
POF-USA’s patented E2 dual-extraction technology consists of four small channels cut into the walls of the chamber allowing a small amount of gas pressure to push against the neck of the spent case. This pressure assists in extraction by breaking the seal between the chamber and case as well as pushing the spent case to the rear as the extractor is pulling to the rear. This removes a tremendous amount of work that would otherwise be left up to the extractor.
RENEGADE RAIL
The Renegade Rail is the perfect upgrade for any AR style rifle. This 14" rail system was initially designed specifically for our Renegade rifle, however, the team at POF-USA wanted anyone with a mil-spec flat top AR15 to be able to enjoy its benefits! The Renegade handguard is our sleekest and slimmest handguard design to date. The Rail also includes POF-USA’s famous Heat Sink Barrel Nut. As a result, you can expect rapid heat dissipation during operation. When properly installed, the recoil lugs engage the forward surface of the barrel nut groove to eliminate any possibility of forward handguard translation that might otherwise be caused by heavy use. M-LOK™ slots are at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions.

Features:

  • 6061-T6 Aluminum Extrusion Construction
  • M-LOK™ Slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions
  • Continuous 12 O-clock Picatinny Rail
  • 4 Quick Detach Sling Swivel Attachment Points
  • Patented Heat Sink Barrel Nut

OVERSIZED HEAT SINK BARREL NUT
The patented oversized heat sink barrel nut is one of the most significant innovations. At three inches long it completely encompasses the chamber and throat area of the barrel where expanding gas temperatures peak. Take into account the radiation properties of aluminum compared to traditional steel and you have 17 times more heat dissipation than a standard AR. Our barrel nut’s 3” length also gives the operating rod substantial guiding surface assuring constant positive contact with the bolt carrier. Our enhanced backbone receiver also moves the upper’s natural stress point forward. This adds a massive amount of rigidity to the overall platform and is critical when vertical fore grips are being pulled on the upper assembly.

KEYLOCK BOLT CARRIER GROUP
Our Keylock Bolt Carrier Group is comprised of a Nitride heat treated carrier and stainless-steel gas key. The gas key is secured with a staked screw and dove tailed into the carrier for an extremely rigid design. This design helps reduce carrier tilt. It features a nickel-plated bolt & extractor, and chrome plated firing pin. The finishes are both corrosion resistant and introduce lubricous characteristics to the action.

Features:

ROLLER CAM PIN

Our patented roller cam pin is just one more example of how we strive to reduce friction and drag in the action. Standard AR cam pins feature a square steel head that literally grinds and carves away at the inside of the receiver. POF-USA’s nickel coated roller head actually rolls inside the channel of the upper thus eliminating friction and prolonging the life of the upper.

ANTI-TILT BUFFER TUBE
Our aluminum anti-tilt buffer tube features “carrier cradle” extensions to ensure that the carrier is always supported by the buffer tube even when the bolt carrier is fully forward. This prevents carrier tilt and premature wear of the buffer tube. The buffer detent now doubles as a lock that inhibits the buffer tube from rotating and becoming loose under adverse conditions. The anti-tilt buffer tube also features three drain holes.

QD RECEIVER END PLATE
The QD End Plate is a low-profile sling mount that does not interfere with the stock when fully collapsed. It features an anti-rotational QD sling swivel attachment. As a result, it allows the operator to focus on the target and not on untangling themselves from their sling. The POF-USA QD end plate is optimal with single-point style slings with push-button quick disconnect sling swivels.

Features:

  • Billet Aluminum Construction
  • Hard Black Anodize Finish
  • Laser-etched POF-USA Logo
  • Compatible with both Mil-spec Carbine Buffer Tubes and Commercial Carbine Buffer Tubes

MICRO B MUZZLE BRAKE
Designed to precisely compliment the POF-USA platform our nitride heat-treated muzzle brake controls gas dispersion and reduces muzzle rise. It is effective in allowing the shooter to have faster follow up shots and has unbelievably soft felt recoil. It features blunt strike prongs and includes our nitride heat-treated collar jam nut.

Features:

  • Muzzle Threads: 5/8 x 24
  • Caliber: 30 caliber
  • Finish: QPQ Nitride
  • Includes Collar Jam Nut

DICTATOR ADJUSTABLE GAS BLOCK
All suppressors increase back pressure. As a result, your firearm will suffer premature wear of parts and see excess amounts of gas/carbon introduced into the action. This is due to a dramatic increase in carrier speed while shooting with a suppressor. With the addition of the Dictator adjustable gas block, you can now control the rate of fire, gas pressure, and the reliability of your rifle. Choose one of 9 gas positions to dictate the gas pressure and cyclic rate. Adjusting the gas system is quick and painless. Choose one of three methods to dial the gas regulator: a flat screwdriver, 3/32” hex wrench, or the dictator wrench. The Dictator adjustable gas block features a straight gas tube, but why? The advantage of a straight gas tube is that we eliminate the heat buildup that exists at the bent portion of a standard gas tube. This feature is extremely important for select-fire and/or suppressed rifles which are subject to very high heat levels. By reducing the built-up heat, you now have a more reliable and longer lasting gas system. The Dictator provides the ultimate range of adjustability and versatility.
