HOW CAN YOUR RIFLE SHOOT SUCH SMALL GROUPS?
I have fired 68 grain HP match Ultra Max .223 and Black Hills 77 grain match BTHP and both loads shoot .250-.275" MOA at 100 yards, (dial caliper measured) off my bench. I have fired Hornady, Remington and Federal from 40 grain (worst groups) 50 grain V-max, 52 grain HP and 55 grain SP. I have gotten sub MOA from all loads except the 40 grainers.

The 1 in 8 twist does fantastic for most loads and the 55 grain will probably be my main load as the Leupold Tactical scope is calibrated for 55 grains. I will send pictures of groups soon. I own several varmint rifles including a 1969 Sako Forester which I had installed a Douglar air-gauged 26" bull barrel in 22-250. I have never developed a hand load that will shoot tighter groups, and my varmint Rock River and Bushmaster .223's are stuck around .5-.75 MOA at 100 yards.
